もとは関西方言。語源は「へたる」という動詞の名詞化であって、「屁垂れ」ではない。

２次元　＝　二次元　（にじげん）

アニメ、ゲーム、コミックなどの世界のこと。

二次元の女の子とは、キャラクターを指す。

また、人が生きる現実世界は三次元と呼ばれる。

So, "2D", or two-dimensional..?

As in "so what if my girlfriend's two-dimensional"?

もともとはダウンタウンによる造語。
 

I ordered something called 中華(something) at a restaurant and never found out what it was; a day or so later I saw someone eating 中華そば or some other noodle, and didn't know what it meant.

Now I know-- instead of asking someone if they want 中国料理, I'll ask if they want to go for 中華料理!  (And wonder, if 「中華料理は行けるかい？」）

漢民族が、周囲の国家や民族は自らより劣るととらえ、自分たちこそが世界の中心にある文化的に優れた国家・民族であるとして自らを指した呼称（美称）。同時に周辺民族を東夷、西戎、南蛮、北狄、などと蔑称した。

日本書紀の雄略天皇紀にも、日本が自らの事を「中国」と呼ぶ記録があり、そうした所は中華思想の影響をうけていると思われる。

ただしインターネット上では、逆に蔑称として使われることがあるので注意が必要である。

またオンラインゲーム上で、RMT行為など悪質な行動をする外国人プレイヤーを中華(出稼ぎ・業者)と呼ぶことがある
