First with the kanji, then examples, then sentences found on the internet.
This is using the Tuttle series of flashcards for the Level 2 of the JLPT, I do believe. The one with the rabbit on the box, in any case.

ＪＹプロジェクトは、１２月２０日くらいまで中断です。
今しか出来ないものは、『げんきＩＩ』という教科書を基にした試験のために、勉強しなくちゃならないことになりました。ですから、本腰に入れて、毎日好きな漢字より『げんきＩＩ』のテキストを勉強しなくちゃならないんですね。
では・・ プロジェクトげんきツーとは？
幹事とか単語とか文法を習うことで、例文を作ることなのです。
役に立つrenshuu.orgというサイトで勉強して、例文を書いたり、オーラルで練習したりします。
★★つまり、受けなくちゃテストは、１２月５日は、復習なんだから、その前にすべてを覚えなきゃ。
なんとなくなるね！ d(*▽*)v
でも私のために気にしないでね。無理はしないし。
